Compost Screener

This is a small compost screener I made from a minnow trap,a tote and a piece of PVC.It works great and cost about $10.

I would like to see how others screen their Vermicompost.I am also making a lager one utilizing a wagon,piece of screen and a vibrating sander.Initial testing looks good.

Awesome Chuck! I use those minnow traps a lot, but never for that. Great idea.

I have used a collander but it sure is a lot of work. Thinking about using an old screen layed over a wheel
barrow. what do you think?

How are you planning to agitate it? I have used a small peice of 1/4" hardware cloth stapled to a lite wood frame. Be sure the frame is lite because you have to shake it.
